The American Numismatic Association (ANA) is a non-profit organization devoted to the education of collectors of money and related items and to encouraging the study of numismatics. Any person interested in the hobby of numismatics should be a member.
We use and recommend Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) for graded coins because they stand behind their grades and they are the official grading service of the American Numismatic Association (ANA).
We use and recommend Paper Money Guaranty (PMG) for grading paper money.
PMG's grading process involves numerous steps within several specialized departments. Each step is performed with the goal of accurately and safely grading each note and placing them into PMG holders. It's a team effort, and you're invited to follow along as we trace the progress of a note through the certification process at PMG.
We also recommend Numismatic Conservation Services (NCS) for conservation of damaged coins. NCS is the conservation service of choice of the ANA.
